Anime Music Videos This page is for the videos that I've done so far. I hope to be putting up more pretty soon.
NEW!! Ryoko's Insecurities NEW!! Okay, it's not exactly a new video, more like version 2.0 of an existing video. This is a reworked version of my Tenchi/Goldfinger video. I went back, tweaked some of the timing, switched out some of the footage (in favor of more appropriate clips), and made it looked much prettier in general ^_^ I'd like to thank ErMaC and AbsoluteDestiny for their All-Encompassing Guide, which was extremely helpful. I don't know what I would've done without it. As with the last one, watch for Tenchi's eyes in the first 30 seconds or so (right before the lyrics start), and Ryoko's face on the word "grate" in the second chorus. I'm also pretty pleased with the interlude, since I tightened up the timing of the cuts in there a lot. Enjoy. Information:Download AVI Download MPG
Don't Fall Away, San This was my first attempt at a video. I used Premiere 6.0, and the source video was a copy of the movie that I found online, along with an mp3 of the music. Working from about 9 or 10 PM, until 4 in the morning usually, this video took me roughly 4 days to complete. I was teaching myself the program at the time, and I was devising the layout of the video as I went. The only part I had planned was the end of the guitar solo, where San goes flying off of the back of one of the wolves (look for it in the video). I liked the timing on the "Dead actors, vacant lies" part, but that's me. Information:Download AVI
What We Do For Love This is the first video on which I employed a capture card. I got a really cheap ATI card, so I apologize for the video quality. The source was also a bit lacking, considering I taped it off of Cartoon Network, which I would also like to apologize for the CN logo in the corner. I know it's unprofessional, but I'm working with what I have. This took a while longer than my Mononoke video, since I had to jack around with the speeds of a lot of the clips. I had a lot of fun towards the end. I tried to start with Ryoko's viewpoint at the beginning, and switch to Tenchi's during the interlude. I'm not sure if it worked, but you be the judge. I like some of the timing during the early parts of the video (watch Ryoko's face on the word "grate", and Tenchi's eyes within the first 20 seconds of the video). I will probably be reworking this video sometime in the near future to tighten some parts, and make it look nicer. Once the DVD box set of the series comes in, I might redo it then. I had a good time making this video, and I hope it is enjoyable for everyone to watch. P.S.-Just so you know, I hate this title, but unfortunately, I couldn't think of anything better when I put it up on AMV.org. I still can't. Poop. Information:Download AVI |
