Hello, my name is Jared Counts, and I am a Junior at the University of Houston. I created this website to serve as my resume and portfolio. My current areas of interest are television, film, and radio script writing, digital audio and video editing and production, and computers and web technologies. I have experimented with digital audio and video editing on my own, typically employing Adobe Premiere. I have a website which I run and maintain (and is a constant work in progress), and also have experience building and maintaining Intel based computer systems, which I have done so for myself, my family, and other acquaintances. I am also experienced in writing for television, radio, and film. I worked as a Production Associate for URTV Productions, during which I assisted in writing, coordinating, filming, and presenting various works for our Communications Program. These included pieces such as public service announcements, promos, commercials, hard news, and feature news for radio and television, along with a short documentary and a screenplay.
